REGISTRATION DETAILS
Registrations for World Cup Fantasy Footy (WCFF) must be made online at www.worldcupfantasyfooty.co.uk
To register with (WCFF) you will be required to:
- Supply your name
- Provide your e-mail address
- Choose a Manager name (max 25 characters)
- Choose a Password without any punctuation or spaces (6-14 characters).
- Supply your data of birth
- Supply your country of residence
- If resident in the UK then indicate whether you own your own car
- Indicate how you heard about WCFF
You cannot change your manager name once you have registered so choose wisely.
Once you have registered you will receive an email from WCFF confirming your details.
WCFF reserve the right to disqualify any Manager name that is deemed to be obscene, racist, or likely to cause offence.
There are no restrictions in playing the game but in order to be eligible to win prizes players must be resident in the UK and be over the age of 18
MAKING A PREDICTION
Group Phase
Initially you may predict the scores of all 48 group matches. Once the 30 man squads have been announced (11th May) you will be able to predict the scorers. You may review any of your group predictions up to one hour before each match kicks off.
Knockout Phase
As and when the knockout fixtures are decided you will also be able to predict the score and scorers of these games. The score predictions you make will be the score after 90 minutes or if it's a draw after 90 minutes then the score after extra time. Goals scored in a penalty shootout do not count towards the score prediction nor do the scorers of the penalties in the shootout.
You may predict up to 8 goals per game and can review any of your predictions up to one hour before each game kicks off.
SCORING
Points are awarded for correct predictions made by each Manager and will be calculated within 24 hours of each game being played. The league tables will be updated at the same time as points are awarded.

Group Governor
Once the squads have been announced on 15th May you will be able to select one player from each group to earn you double points for every goal they score during the Group phase. The cut-off date for selecting your Group Governor is the 10th June.
Own Goals
Own goals accredited to players will not count as part of their goal tally and you are unable to include own goals in your predictions. In the event of an own goal being scored no points will be awarded for that goal although the goal itself will count as a valid goal in the actual result of the match.
Results
At any time during the competition you will be able to see how your points have been calculated by clicking on each result in the results section.
You will also be able to see how many points you were awarded on group phase completion by going to the groups section and clicking on each team in the actual table.
during the group stage points will be awarded based on results after 90 minutes. During the knockout stage points will be awarded based on the score after 90 minutes or after extra time if the match score is even after 90 minutes. Goals scored during any penalty shootout do not count.
All points will be awarded in accordance with decisions as they stand at the end of each match. We will take the utmost care to ensure that points are awarded as accurately as possible. However, our decision with regard to how points are calculated is final.
MINILEAGUES
To create a MiniLeague you will be required to supply a league name (max 25 characters, no punctuation) and provide the e-mail addresses of those you wish to join.
Anyone you would like to add to your MiniLeague will need to be a registered Manager with the WCFF website first. We reserve the right to disqualify any MiniLeague name that is deemed to be obscene, racist, or likely to cause offence.
You can create only 1 MiniLeague but there is no maximum as to the number of MiniLeagues you can be in. Each of the MiniLeagues you create can contain as many people as you like.

You must be a UK resident and over 18 in order to win any prizes.
Winners will be notified by email and published on WCFF when the game is completed.
Entry in WCFF constitutes permission for fetchthebest.com and Thoughtbubble Ltd to use the names and Photo's of participants at it's discretion for publicity purposes.
In the event of two or more WCFF players ending the competition on equal points and position the prize money for those positions will be divided equally between those players.
All Prizes must be claimed within 28 days of the final points and positions being published. In the event of a prize being unclaimed all players will move up a place in the final league table and prizes will be reallocated. Claimants must redeem their prize within 60 days of Thoughtbubble verifying their claim.
Any registered player who gets another 5 members to register will automatically be submitted into a prize draw to be held at the end of the competition
